History
The medicine doctor Erast Andriivsky arrival has set the start of the mineral water "Kuyalnyk". He convinced the local authorities to create a mud sanatorium on the shore of the Kuyalnytsky estuary. Water from the pumping station began to be used for drinking and later for treatment. In 1868, the resort was expanded, and a park was created. And in 1873, a railway station was built, connecting the estuary with the seaport and the railway itself.
For more than 50 years, the resort has been gaining tremendous popularity, so in 1892, a new hospital, one of the most beautiful in the country, was built according to the project of the famous architect Mykola Tolvinsky. At that time, the mineral water "Kuyalnyk" began to be actively used to improve digestion and prevent any digestive problems.
The start of the industrial water bottling on the resort's territory in 1948. In 1961, Kuyalnyk was put in glass bottles, as a factory had begun to operate nearby the sanatorium.
Today, the Odesa Mineral Water Plant "Kuyalnyk" is a modern enterprise with its own laboratory equipped with high-precision equipment that meets international mineral water standards.

Kuyalnyk is extracted from wells in the Upper Sarmatian water horizon and bottled at the Kuyalnyk plant directly from the source, without being chemically processed. The water is naturally saturated with valuable minerals as it passes through a layer of limestone. The source is protected from surface water and other factors by a 12-meter layer of clay.
Kuyalnyk contains sodium, potassium, calcium, magnesium, chlorides, sulfates and hydrocarbons. Due to the sufficient salt content and natural chemical composition, the water does not wash minerals from the body and has a pleasant taste.
